Chances to see us dance!!!

Hello, all! Long time, no see! Well, let's remedy that! You've got some chances to see us dancing now that the summer is here!

First of all, on Wednesdays, you can find us at the Farmers' Market on Broadway in Green Bay. Our tent has been set up on the east end of Hubbard Street & we're usually there 3-8 (3-7 in Sept & Oct). Come by and say "Hello!" If the weather is too bad or too many of us are unavailable, we might not be there, but we're planning on being there every week!

Secondly, we're going to be at Bayfest Live this weekend! We'll be dancing in our tent 4-7:30 on Friday and 11-7:30 on Saturday. But, as a special bonus, we'll be performing half-hour shows on the Street Stage on Saturday at 12:30, 2:30 & 5:30! Every show's different, too, so catch them all if you really love us!

Hope to see you really soon!

Artstreet 2010 - August 28 & 29 in Green Bay

We'll be dancing at Artstreet in Green Bay again this year! Last year was a blast, even with the rain ALL DAY on Sunday. We're hoping for coolish, but not rainy weather for this year's event!

Since we're dancing from 10-6 on Saturday and 10-5 on Sunday, you'll have plenty of chances to see us. (And we'll get some amazing workouts! Hope we've got some shimmy left by the afternoon on Sunday! *grin*) Not sure right now exactly where our booth will be, but that just means we'll be a happy surprise as you go roaming around, looking at all the amazing art and craftworks!

Hope to see you there! More details at the Artstreet website.

Booth location change for this week's Green Bay Farmers' Market

We've been excited to be part of the Farmers' Market on Broadway in Green Bay again this year! We've had a great time dancing and meeting people. It's been HOT though!

Navah Mirage's tent has usually been down at the south end of Broadway near the Red Awning and Sassy Girl (both great stores, BTW!). However, we've learned that this week, we'll be in a different location - on the east half of the cross street (Hubbard).

So, if you come looking for us this week, now you'll know where to find us! Hope to see you there!

WFRV Sunday Morning appearance for Arti Gras

We had a wonderful time at Arti Gras last Saturday! Our troupe enjoyed getting to perform our solos and group dances for a whole hour. Thanks to everyone who came!

We were also fortunate to be asked to be part of WFRV's Sunday Morning show. So, some of our troupe woke up bright and early and danced. Thanks to Hilary, the great crew with WFRV, and our own "support crew." Didn't catch us then? *grin* Well, here you go anyway!

Arti Gras - February 6th

Happy New Year to all of you! We here at Navah Mirage wish you a wonderful 2010 filled with love, laughter, and dancing!

Speaking of dancing, we've been invited to perform at Arti Gras at Shopko Hall in Green Bay on February 6th from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. We're very excited to share our belly dance with you, and will likely be performing our dance using our flashy gold Wings of Isis for the first time in public! You won't want to miss that!

As always, please contact us with any questions at navahmirage@gmail.com.

Thanks to ArtStreet, its organizers and attendees!

Thanks to everybody who came and saw us dancing at ArtStreet on August 29th & 30th! We know Saturday had terrible weather, so an extra cheer to those of you who stuck it out and braved the rain! If by any chance you took some pictures you'd like to share with us, we'd love to see them, and maybe even (if it's ok with you) post some here! An extra thanks to the ArtStreet organizers for inviting us to join the fun!
